Like a story, my new book cover has many layers:
Starting with a picture of Canyonlands NP in Utah that I took while on vacation in 2009:
Then add a NASA stock photo of the moon Phobos:
Then put an anonymous hiker on the point:
He doesn’t need a fancy space suit and you’ll have to read the book to know why.
Then take a stock photo of the Manhattan skyline:
This one I morphed with a bubble effect later.
Then mash them together and remove most of the blues and greens from the picture and you get a photo looking down on New Angeles, Mars:
